Q. Do I pay Unicom my line rental?
No. You carry on paying line rental to your existing landline / service provider (BT, NTL etc.)

Q. Can I check my account balance at any given moment?                                                       
Yes. You can dial the access number and your account number and PIN (if necessary) and an automated message will automatically inform you of your balance.

Alternatively you can avail our ONLINE facility at a later stage and check your account history online at the touch of a button.


Q. Can I make calls without having to dial my PIN number all the time?
Yes, we can set up a facility absolutely free of charge, which allows you to access our service without having to enter long pin numbers. Simply tell us your home telephone number or other numbers from where you make most of your calls, we will program these numbers into our system so that you do not have to enter your pin number.

Q. What happens if I forget my Password?
No problem, we can remind you of your password if you call 0845 051 9000. Our friendly operators will make a few security checks and will notify you.

Q. I do not have a credit card, can I still open a Unicom account?
Yes, our customer services department will be able to set up an account for you using a cheque, debit card or a postal order.

Q. Will I receive any warning before my credit runs out?
Yes, Unicom will give you three warnings before you run out of credit. That way you will never be cut off mid sentence.

Q. Can I only make international calls with this account?
No. You are able to make local, national and international calls. You can even use it to make calls to mobiles. Unicom gives you huge saving to UK local and mobiles as well.
